Onestream Wins Business to Business Dealer of The Year Award

Onestream, the Business to Business division of Great Yarmouth based Digital Phone Company, triumphed at the prestigious Mobile News Awards ceremony on Thursday 18th March at London’s Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, scooping the hotly contested Business to Business, Dealer of the Year award.

Presented to Chairman Phil Rider, by comedian Michael McIntyre, the Award is vindication of the decision 18 months ago, to separate the Onestream Brand from DPC, offering as it does, the complete converged solution to East Anglian businesses.

The judges said “A professional business that has developed a new brand to deliver an expanding product range. This was an incredibly strong category which Onestream won against a very high standard of entries.

Now in its 16th year the Mobile News Awards are recognised as the industry’s “Oscars”, and is the second time a DPC Company has won, after they were voted Small Retailer of the year in 2004.

Commenting on the award, Phil Rider said “This is an immensely satisfying win in a National competition against the best the Industry has to offer. It is recognition of the fantastic job our whole team does in delivering the highest standards of professionalism on both voice and data. An IT Support Technician is required by OneStream – the award winning business division of Digital Phone Company Ltd

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years 2nd line support experience and be conversant in the following operating systems and applications:-

Windows server including Server 2003 – 2008 (+ SBS). Administration experience of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and remote access systems is also essential.

Experience of SQL, Exchange 2003 onwards, WSUS and Terminal Server/VPN installations

Installing, Configuring and Supporting desktops running Windows XP through to Windows 7 and related applications software such as Office.

General hardware knowledge and experience in IT maintenance is also expected.

Commercial experience and awareness would be beneficial but not essential.

The role will be customer facing to internal and external clients. The ability to work flexible hours and travel within the East Anglia region will be required; therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. A Microsoft Certified candidate will be at an advantage and you will also benefit from our Microsoft Partner status.

You will also be required to work with our Business to Business Customer Service team to provide assistance and holiday cover for general administrative functions.
