BlackBerry Curve 8520 gets a Trackpad
Blackberry
After much anticipation, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 into the market.
Now available from OneStream, this is the new ‘affordably priced’ device from RIM which combines the successful Curve design template, allowing for secure email and with 3 multimedia playback buttons you can accompany those spare moments in the day with music or video.
One significant addition to the Curve 8520 is the new ‘trackpad’ which has been designed for fast scrolling though web pages, emails and documents. The new trackpad uses optical technology (like many modern computer mice do), allowing for “an experience similar to the trackpad on a laptop” according to RIM. The trackpad will perform the same function as pressing on the previous trackball, confirming a task or function.
