One of OneStream’s key strengths is the technical expertise and know-how of our people. OneStream only work with business clients, which is why we believe our experience can be of real value to you.

We can either carry out a Communications review for you independently, or work on it together with your existing IT/Telecoms team.

Key to a successful consultation is being able to gain a deeper understanding of your business, so these are some of the areas we would look at:

  • Understanding your current IT and communications infrastructure and the demands your business is likely to place on it in the future.
  • What your key business objectives and challenges are for the next three years.
  • The key job functions within your business and how and where they are performed.
  • What makes you successful in your market, and who your main competitors are.
  • What’s in it for you?

Once we’ve spent the time with you to gather this information, we will then present you with a bespoke, written proposal which will detail the kind of technologies that will be able to satisfy the broader needs and challenges of your business over the coming months and years

Vodafone Mobile Broadband network just keeps getting faster, and recently they announced that they are upgrading their Mobile Broadband network in areas of highest demand in the UK to take advantage of enhanced 14.4 Mbps capability.

Vodafone are the first UK mobile operator to install this level of capability which will give OneStream business customers greater reliability and improved speeds on their mobile broadband devices.

Sites with the greatest demand will be upgraded first. They’ve already upgraded sites in busy areas of London, Birmingham and Liverpool and the roll-out is set to continue across the UK in coming months.

But the upgrade to the network doesn’t mean customers will need to buy new devices. Over 80% of all datacards/dongles and 3G handsets can take advantage of the improved network thanks to the improved quality of service and reliability that 14.4 Mbps brings.

“Customers trust us to deliver a mobile network that they can rely on – wherever they are and whether they are individuals, or a small, medium or large business,” says Jeni Mundy, Vodafone Chief Technology Officer. “Today’s network upgrade means customers can be reassured we’re consistently enhancing the quality of our network in response to demand.”

Customers’ average speeds will vary depending on the strength of signal they have and the number of people using the same cell site. Whilst 14.4 Mbps is the peak rate the network’s capable of, customers can expect to see typical speeds of anything between 1 and 4 Mbps with a practical maximum speed of 10.8 Mbps.
